This Supplemental EA/EIR to the 2007 Folsom Dam Safety and Flood Damage Reduction EIS/EIR analyzes the potential effects of proposed 1) restoration activities, 2) mitigation requirements and 3) design refinements related to the Join Federal Project UFP). Restoration activities include 1) restoration of a 58 acre area referred to as the Haul Road Restoration Area; 2) restoration of a 0.9 acre parking lot within the Dike 7 Office Complex Area; 3) and partial restoration of the 8.9 acre Prison Staging Area. Mitigation activities include: 1) proposed oak woodland mitigation provided to mitigate for past tree impacts that occurred in the Dike 8 Disposal area; 2) Proposed mitigation for prior recreational fishing impacts Design refinements activities include: 1) construction of new guardrails along Folsom Lake Crossing.
