Document Description
The Central Valley Flood Protection Board has prepared a Supplemental EA/EIR to the Final EIS/EIR prepared in 2007 for the Folsom Dam Safety and Flood Damage Reduction Joint Federal Project (JFP). This Supplemental EA/EIR proposes to implement slope protection measures to stabilize a portion of the right bank of the American river approximately 400 feet downstream of Folsom Dam. The proposed action will ensure stability of the right bank when stable flows from the main dam and auxiliary dam spillway converge. The potential effects on air quality, climate change, cultural resources, vegetation and wildlife, biological resources, and water quality are analyzed in detail.
