This Recirculated Supplemental EA/EIR to the Folsom Dam Safety & Flood Damage Reduction Final EIS/EIR (2007) analyzes the potential effects for slope protection measures for a portion (~400 feet) of the right bank of American river just downstream of Folsom Dam. The proposed action will enhance stability of the right bank when flows from the main dam and auxiliary dam spillway converge. Potential effects analyzed in detail include air quality, climate change, cultural resources, vegetation and wildlife, biological resources, and water quality.
