Document Description
This application is for a Building Site Approval and Grading Permit to construct a new single-family residence, guesthouse, tennis court, barn and associated driveway, and improvements to the access road. Estimated grading associated with this project equals approximately 3,000 cubic yards of cut, and 3,000 cubic yards of fill to construct the new residence, driveway, and access road improvements (Booker Creek Road). Improvements to the proposed access road includes one creek crossing (a new wider bridge to replace an existing bridge). Some retaining walls, culverts, and drainage swales are also proposed to adequately take care of drainage flowing through the access road. Per County Land Development Engineering and Fire Marshal requirements, the applicant is contributing a pro-rata share for improving a portion of the access road (Booker Creek). A number of trees shall be removed including some redwood trees within and adjacent to the bridge, madrone trees along portion of the access road, and a fir tree within the building footprint of the new residence.
