The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, the City of Maricopa, represented by Bob Wilburn-City Administrator, for its Wastewater Project. The applicant proposes to create two wastewater retention ponds immediately north of the City's existing wastewater ponds, in a location presently occupied by an ephemeral beneath the new wastewater ponds. The City also proposes to install a new trunk line and a portable effluent disposal system (PEDS) pipeline, which all cross two ephemeral drainages east and south of the new wastewater ponds.
