Document Description
The Sbrana Elementary School Project would include construction and operation of an elementary school in the northern portion of Assessor's Parcel No. 21011002000 in Salinas, California. The proposed school would include 30 classrooms and would accommodate 600 students and 40 faculty and staff members. In total, the project would include construction of nine one-story buildings, six of which would contain classrooms; the remaining three one-story buildings would contain administrative offices, a library, and a multi-purpose room. The project site is within the City of Salinas West Area Specific Plan (WASP), which establishes the overall land use concept for the West Area. The WASP envisioned the construction of three schools, and the proposed project consists of the second of the three planned elementary schools. The City of Salinas adopted an EIR for the WASP in 2019.
