Document Description
The proposed project consists of a comprehensive update of the Monterey County General Plan (2006 General Plan). This update includes changes to land use designations and the goals and policies within the General Plan and Area Plans that guide future growth and land use activities. The 2006 General Plan includes an Agricultural Winery Corridor Plan (AWCP) that would facilitate the development of wine-related facilities on three corridors in the Salinas Valley and South County. Note that the planning boundaries of the 2006 General Plan or the AWCP do not include the Coastal Zone.
