Document Description
The proposed project would include the construction of new facilities (transfer station, load out bay, administrative office and a scale house) for the development of a Waste Transfer Station (WTS) at the location of an existing DTS. The proposed project would permit UWS to expand from a current 150 TPD of MSW and green waste, to a peak of 1,500 TPD of non-hazardous MSW. However, on a weekly average the load handled by the proposed facility could vary by 5 to 10 percent, and on a seasonal average, the change could vary by 10 to 15 percent.
