Document Description
The SWRCB, as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The Cal Trans Mountain Pass JPOE proposed project included installation of a groundwater well, water tank and onsite water treatment facility to supply for the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility (CVEF), and a second installation of a groundwater well, water tank and onsite treatment facility to supply water for the Agricultural Inspection Facility (AIF). Because the water is pumped from the ground, water is treated by a reverse osmosis system installed at each facility prior to use.
