Document Description
The Proposed Project is a 175-room, 4-story limited service hotel with ancillary meeting and fitness space, common areas, an exterior pool, and surface parking. The Sunroad Hotel project would be located east of the existing Sunroad Resort Marina and would replace an existing locker building and some parking, with the existing marina offices to remain. The PMPA would allow up to two other hotels, with a combined maximum of not more than 500 rooms, to be developed on East Harbor Island, westerly of the existing marina building. The Proposed Project also includes the extension of the public promenade along the Harbor Island East Basin. The Proposed Project would also reconfigure a portion of eastern Harbor Island Drive and the traffic circle at its terminus. Utilities may also be realigned to accommodate the Proposed Project.
