Document Description
To replace the existing Horsethief Creek road crossing and culverts with a railroad flatcar bridge, using railroad cars for the deck of the bridge. This action would prevent continued degradation of the existing bridge and provide all weather access to DWR facilities. Although this project will potentially impact State and federally-listed species, and wetlands within a streambed, measures involving on-site impacts avoidance, minimization, and restoration procedures have been adopted by California Department of Water Resources to mitigate all potential impacts.
