Document Description
The proposed project is located within the Oroville Wildlife Area on State lands about seven miles southweste of the community of Oroville. The California Department of Fish and Game manages this area in cooperation with the Department of Water Resources. The California Department of Boating and Waterways is the lead agency for the proposed project. The project purpose is to maintain/improve the existing facilities to improve public safety, enhance the recreational experience of recreational users, reduce recreation/related resource degradation, and improve public sanitation.

Section 15304 - Applies to minor public or private alterations in the condition of land, water, or vegetation that do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry or agricultural purposes. This exemption includes grading on land with a slope of less than 10%.
