Document Description
The Project is limited to the routine maintenance of 26 ponds and wetlands within the Los Vaqueros Watershed. Ponds may require vegetation removal, sediment removal, water retention improvements, and dam facility structural repairs to be conducted. The Project is located within the Los Vaqueros Reservoir watershed in land areas owned and operated by the Contra Costa Water District in Contra Costa & Alameda County, California. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2013-0333-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Contra Costa Water District as represented by Peter Colby.
