Document Description
Caltrans is proposing that the CTC adopt a route for State Route 180 in western Fresno County. The route adoption study has identified a preferred route alignment for an ultimate 4-lane expressway or SR 180 from I-5 to the western terminus of SR 180, near Brawley Ave in the City of Fresno. The formal adoption of a route for SR 180 would enable Caltrans, in cooperation with local governments, to plan for future transportation projects within the corridor. When there is a future need for development of the corridor and funding becomes available. Caltrans would prepare project-level environmental documents and design, acquire permits for and construct all or part of the subsequent projects.
