The Project also includes the enhancement and phased set aside of the remaining 1,377.5 acres as Habitat Managment land under permanent conservation easement. The Project will result in impacts to 684.3 acres of California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) upland refugia habitat. The Project is expected to result in incidental take of California tiger salamander, which is designated as a threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act.
