A Conditional Use Permit application to build a two-story Buddhist monastery of 49 feet high with no outdoor announcement system proposed. The first floor of the building will be approximately 7,200 sq. ft., and contains a worship area, two offices, and two bathrooms. The second floor of the building has a living room, ten bedrooms for a total of 10 monks residing in the temple who share four bathrooms. A total of 106 parking spaces (including 3 in garage) will be provided and landscape area is approximately 21,500 sq. ft. The site currently has one 1-story house (4,119 sq. ft.), one guest house (668 sq. ft.), a shed, and one 6-car garage (1,600 sq. ft.). The site currently has one 1-story house would be used for meditation and the 1,600-sq. ft. garage/storage structure would continue that use. The 2-bed room guest house and a shed will be demolished. Although the facility would be accessible 7 days a week and 24 hours a day, the primary worship activities occur only on Sunday between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, with a maximum of 160 attendents on site at any time during this period of time.
