The sole purpose of the project is to extend the Agency's eminent domain authority whithin the project area (with the restriction that such authority may not be used to acquire property on which any persons reside) for a 12-year period as permitted by the California Community Redevelopment Law (CCRL; Health and Safety Code, Section 33000 et seq.). The project is administrative in character and does not contemplate implementation or funding of any site-specific, development/redevelopment projects. Niether does the project affect land use policy or regulations.
