Document Description
Fresno COG and the Authority will recommend that the County of Fresno place the measure on the November 2006 ballot for consideration. If approved the measure would authorize the State to continue collection of the 1/2 percent sales tax beginning July 1, 2007 and continuing for a minimum of 20-years. The Plan will be presented to the voters in the ballot as a means to fill a portion of the projected funding shortfall.
