The subject property consists of one parcel of land encompassing approximately 5.25 acres, more or less. The property is located in Mendocino County, California, is locally known as the Howard Albertsen property and is within the original boundaries of the Round Valley Reservation. This land will be used to meet the long-range housing needs of tribal members. The proposal calls for the construction of up to 10 single family homes or a senior complex equivalent to 10 homes. These structures will include installation of water, sewer, and utility lines. Funds to accomplish this project will be provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Native American Self-Help and Determination Act and Indian Health Service. Proposed Activity: Long-range housing needs of tribal members.
