This project consists of an investigation to test, record and salvage, archaeological features, data, and resources, from five sites located in Torrey Pines State Reserve. These sites had sustained serious erosion problems caused from the abnormally high rainfall of 2004/2005. The proposed work includes test excavations of a total of ten features (ten 1x1 meter units to an estimated depth of 50 cm), surface collections (where applicable), and detailed site mapping. A resource ecologist will ensure post excavation site stabilization.
