Document Description
SAFCA proposes to transplant a total of 12 elderberry shrubs from the lower Sacramento River (RMs 45.6L and 58.5L) to the lower American River. The purpose of the project is to help facilitate the flood control repairs at the two Sacramento River sites scheduled for later in the year by addressing endangered species concerns as soons as possible and minimize potential adverse effects to the valley Elderberry Longhorn Beetle and its habitat by pruning and transplanting shrubs during their dormant period.
