Document Description
The purpose of the proposed project is to create a gymnasium that would meet the current and future needs of Eureka High students, athletes, and staff, primarily by providing adequate housing for Physical Education, Health Education, and Team Sports. The existing gymnasium facility is old and in need of extensive renovation. A new gymnasium is proposed for construction to the south of the existing Science Building, facing J Street. The proposed gym is approximately 40,000 square feet with a feature court, auxiliary gym, locker and shower rooms, classroom/team room, staff offices, wrestling/dance room, weight room, fitness room, storage rooms, restrooms, concessions, ticketing, and lobby.
