Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Mr. Freddy Otte. The Project consists of replacing an existing sewer line that has become exposed as it crosses the Creek with a new, 6-inch diameter high density polyethylene (HDPE) line that will run approximately 12 feet below the existing grade of the Creek. The line will be installed utilizing horizontal direction drilling (HDD) that will require drilling pits to be located on either side of the creek approximately 150 feet from tops of banks. An existing, stable gravel bar on the east side of the creek will be used as a staging area for emergency equipment should a frac-out occur. Requirements for Contingency Plans for cleanup operations in the event of frac-out have been made part of the Streambed Alteration Agreement.
