Document Description
The Department of Fish and Game is issuing a Streambed Alteration Agreement (1600-2011-0284-R5) to City Ventures Homebuilding, LLC, who proposes to alter the stream to develop fifty three condominium units, parking lots, and other associated infrastructure, in the southernmost portion of the 14.4-acre parcel and the widening of El Camino Real. Approximately 27,000 cubic yards of earthwork will occur in the 3.4-acre development area. The unvegetated ephemeral drainages that will be permanently impacted by the development terminate in a detention basin that currently serves the adjacent shopping center. The Carlsbad habitat management Plan permits a maximum of 25% development on the site, thus approximately 75% of the site will be preserved and dedicated as permanent open space.
