Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) approved the El Monte Gateway Remedial Action Plan (RAP) that authorizes activities be conducted to remediate soil contaminated with lead, arsenic, and antimony at 3615, 3535, 3675, 3527 Santa Anita Avenue, El Monte. Activities to be conducted pursuant to the approved RAP include: • Limited soil excavation of approximately 19,000 cubic yards of soil containing elevated levels of lead, arsenic, and antimony. • Conduct confirmation sampling to ensure cleanup goals are met. • Excavation areas will be backfilled with clean soil including soil derived from other portions of the Project Site during grading operations.
