The City of Lake Elsinore is preparing the City of Lake Elsinore General Plan Update to replace the existing General Plan from 1990. The EIR will assess the updated General Plan and possible impacts. The overall purpose of the General Plan is to update goals, and policies that will guide the development in the City, Sphere of Influence (SOI), and future Planning Areas and reflect the community's vision for the future.
