Document Description
A major league baseball stadium with a seating capacity of up to 36,000 would be constructed on the project site under the modified project proposal. A detailed plan for the modified project has not yet been prepared but the modified stadium would have a similar configuration and orientation to that proposed in 2006. The stadium would be located on the same site as proposed in 2006 or, as an option, may be shifted approximately 100 feet to the south. Repositioning the stadium to the south would require that Park Avenue be narrowed from 4 lanes to two between Autumn Street and the railroad tracks but would avoid the need to reconfigure a Pacific, Gas and Electric (PG&E) substation located on the northwest corner of the proposed stadium site.
