The CMS West project would entail reconstruction of the west grandstand within the west wall of the stadium, interior program improvements, construction of a new press box, installation of permanent field lighting, landscape improvements, and as now proposed in the SEIR would include use of Witter Field east of the CMS for temporary activities during the construction period, and construction of an Athletic Service Center (ASC) to house game day ticketing, loading, solid waste, service, recycling and minimal storage needs for both the Student Athlete High Performance Center (SAHPC) and the CMS West project. The Recirculated SEIR also addresses permanent improvements to nearby Witter Fields and the unrelated NCAA programming change introducing Friday evening intercollegiate football competition.
