The proposed project consists of approval of a Remediation Action Plan, which requires the removal and off-site disposal of soil contaminated with metals (arsenic, antimony, and lead), total extractable petroleum hydrocarbons, sulfide, and chlorinated volatile organic compounds to an approved offsite facility, and the dewatering and treatment/disposal of saturated zone soil to remove impacted groundwater. Approximately 16,000 bank cubic yards of soil will be excavated from an area that is ~3 acres in size.
