The proposed project includes the addition of approximately 160,000 square feet of gross leasable area (GLA) to an existing regional shopping center, Plaza Bonita Mall. The proposed project involves the removal of an existing two-story anchor store at the south end of the mall (Wards building) and the reconfiguration of surface parking lots on the southern portion of the site. In place of the anchor store, the project proposes the construction of two-levels of retail space for small shops and restaurants, a new , single-story anchor building, a multi-screen theater above the new anchor, and a pad building along the ring road on the northwest corner of the site.
