This is a grant application under Proposition 50. The intent of the project is to restore designated wetlands and stream banks along Angels Creek in Murphy's California. The project scope includes restoration of existing and degraded wetlands, removal of an existing structure and utilities, construction of a pedestrian footbridge at the current vehicle bridge location, construct of interpretive walking paths and boardwalks, shade structures, lawn areas outside of designated wetlands, historical displays outside of designated wetlands, fishing access, bird watching areas, and passive recreational opportunities.
