Document Description
Use Permit for a rock quarry. The applicant proposes to begin quarry activities at the project location. The proposal calls for 15 years of quarry activities with a reclamation plan to ensue upon cessation of said operation. The quarry is estimated to contain approximately 750,000 cubic yards of material, which will be quarried at a rate of no more than 750,000 cubic yards per year. Rock quarries require the Lead Agency conduct an Environmental Review in accordance with standards of CEQA and SMARA. Additionally, County land use and zoning designations require that the applicant secure a Conditional Use Permit for a Rock Quarry.
