Document Description
The City of Union City proposes to convert 4910 feet of a 700-linear-foot section of the existing concrete lined rectangular Line M Channel between the former PG&E and PSSC sites into a box culvert. Proposed construction involves removing 490 feet of concrete lined open channel between the Union Pacific Railroad tracks (Niles Subdivision) and the UPRR tracks (Oakland Subdivision) and replacing it with double 12-foot by 10-foot reinforced concrete box culvert. The culvert would consist of 2 sections, a 300-foot length upstream of the existing 11th Street crossing and a 190-foot length downstream of the crossing to the existing 8-foot reinforced concrete pipe under the UPRR tracks (Oakland Subdivision).
