Mammoth County Water District has applied for an amended water supply permit to operate two arsenic removal treatment plants for two of their existing wells. The project involves the installation of chemical feed equipment at both treatment plants to inject ferric chloride to the water treatment process. Precipitated arsenic will eventually be disposed of at the Benton Crossing Landfill.
