Document Description
The proposed project will consist of the demolition of a 38 room hotel and parking lot, and the construction of a new hotel on a 1.39-acre site at 800 Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach. The new hotel is proposed under a Specific Plan to include 78 to 81 rooms, a restaurant, patio dining, pool, meeting rooms, and approximately 105 parking spaces in one level underground. The maximum height of the proposed facility may not exceed four stories or 40 feet, per City of Imperial Beach policy. The project includes constructing a new vertical seawall 35 feet east of the existing timber seawall, with all building and associated improvements east of the new seawall. The project may also include street end improvements at the western terminus of Date Avenue, south of the 1.39-acre lot.
