This project involves the construction of trail segments to complete the Art Smith Trail re-route and the Hopalong Cassidy Trail, Segments of these trails already existing: portions of the existing "southern" Schey and Canyon Trails will be incorporated in the Art Smith Trail reroute; and portions of the existing "northern" Schey Trail and Hopalong Cassidy Trail at Homme-Adams Park will be incorporated in the completed Hopalong Trail from the Art Smith Trail to the Mirage Trail in Rancho Mirage.
