CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2018-0347-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Kurt Arends, Santa Clara Valley Water District. The Parallel East Pipeline Appurtenance refurbishment project will involve dewatering 1.1 million gallons of water into Norwood Creek (~671,528 gallons) and Flint Creek (~460,123 gallons) at a discharge rate of 3 cubic feet per second. Additionally, after refurbishment of the pipeline, the pipeline will be filled with treated water and approximately 2.3 million gallons of water at 3 cfs will be discharged into Thompson Creek.
