Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0225-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Katherine Oven/Santa Clara Valley Water District. The Almaden Valley Pipeline Rehabilitation Project includes inspection, maintenance and repair on approx. 12.26 miles of pipeline to ensure that it is operating effectively. The project will require dewatering of 14,274,246 gallons of water. Water will be released to the Kooser Percolation Ponds for beneficial use; to the Permittee's Evaporation Ponds for the Santa Teresa Water Treatment Plant; to local creeks; and to storm drains. The project includes minor pruning of a Coast Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia) tree along Guadalupe Creek and minor pruning of a CA Sycamore (Platanus racemose) tree along Alamitos Creek.
