Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0056-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Katherine Oven/Santa Clara Valley Water District. Project is limited to the dewatering and inspection of the Pacheco Tunnel Reach 2 and Pacheco Conduit, which are part of the San Felipe Reach 1 pipeline transmission system and associated with U.S. Bureau of Reclamation's San Felipe Division. Approx. 15.5 million gallons of water will be gravity-drained the Santa Clara Conduit into existing groundwater recharge facilities located in central and northern Santa Clara County. The remaining 26 million gallons of water will be gravity-drained from Pacheco Conduit and Santa Clara Conduit up to the Santa Clara Tunnel into the ground or into Pacheco Creek and its local tributaries through blow-off valves.
