Document Description
This project includes drilling, casing, testing, and developing a 2,000 gallon-per-minute domestic water well including the installation of a 300-horsepower motor, a 2,000 gallon-per-minute pump, and other aboveground and underground appurtenances required to connect the well and pumping plant into the domestic water distribution system. An additional 1,500 feet of 12-inch pipe will be installed to connect Well 6807-1 to Well 6806-1 and arsenic facility site located in the southwest corner of the Pierce Street/Avenue 60 intersection. The Well 6807-1 site will be surrounded by a 6-foot-high masonry wall. The purpose of the Well 6807-1 project is to provide domestic water service to the Mecca Pressure Zone and serve as a backup source of water to Area 23. Area 23 includes North Shore, Bombay Beach, and Hot Mineral Spa.
