Document Description
Improve an existing seismic station within Auburn State Recreation Area (SRA) to provide remote digital access. The new construction will install a 4-foot by 4-foot concrete pad and install an 8-10 foot antenna on the pad. The antenna will be painted green to blend in with the environment. The U.S. Geological Survey is installing the improvements and operating the station through an agreement with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, who owns the land within the SRA. the California Department of Parks and Recreation will review and approve the agreement.
