Document Description
Caltrans is planning the installation of new and the replacement of existing Pacific Coast Bicycle Route Signs at 91 locations in Del Norte, Humboldt, and Mendocino counties from the Oregon border south to the Sonoma county line. The signs will provide guidance for touring bicyclists travelling north or southbound along existing state highways and local roadways through District 1. The new route deviates from the existing route at some locations due to safety concerns. At those locations where the route has been changed, the old route signs will be removed to avoid confusion.
