Document Description
Two small illegal disposal sites are located on the above site, north of railroad track built by the Southern Pacific Railroad. One site is near a rock quarry where material for the railroad and highways were mined. The other site is in an old concrete-lined water basin. Wastes from both sites will be removed and disposed of as part of the closure of a County-operated burn dump also on the Stonybrook property. The site near the quarry will be regraded and revegetated as part of the remediation. The water basin will be cleaned of wastes and left for possible future use.
