Document Description
This project is required to replace two segments of improperly sized and substandard pipeline material in the Livingston Drain with properly sized and better quality pipe. The first segment, consisting of approximately 1,550 linear feet (LF) of poured in place pipeline will be replaced with 60-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP). The second segment, the existing Rose Avenue culvert (50-feet of corrugated metal pipe) will be replaced with 60-inch diameter RCP.

Reasons for Exemption
This project will not have a significant effect on the environment. The project is not subject to the exceptions in Section 15300.2. The two new segments of pipeline will follow the same alignment as the existing pipelines. The project will bring these two sections of pipeline up to the same capacity as the immediate upstream and downstream portions of the Livingston Drain.
