The mural wall is considered an accessory Park use that is exempt under both CEQA and City of Inglewood Municipal Code Section 12-102(5) requirements. The Amended Initial Study shows that the removal of the large Ficus tree (Ficus microcarpa nitida) will not have any adverse impact on the environment as it does not provide food for any wildlife and provides no special habitat for any species that cannot be provided by all other trees in the vicinity and the tree is an introduced (non-native but common species installed in an urban park, so it does not create nor contribute to any natural habitat.
