The Project is limited to the restoration of approximately 1,200 feet of Hess Creek through the re-grading, stabilization, and enhancement of wetlands and riparian habitat. The Project will also include the removal of a previously existing asphalt road, construction of a low grade water crossing, seasonal wetland creation & restoration of 2.12 acres. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2014-0056-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Applicant/Organization.
