Document Description
The proposed project described in the December 31, 2007 Final EIR/EIS has been revised by CA American Water Company to meet regulatory requirements, to provide better road access to the project, and maintain the project construction schedule. The supplement to the FEIR has been prepared to describe the revised project features, to analyze potential impacts associated with the changes to the project and to proposed mitigation for the impacts. CA American Water Company proposes to remove San Clemente Dam and reroute the Carmel River, as described in Alternative 3 of the FEIR/EIS. As with the proposed project described in the FEIR/EIS, the revised project described in the DSEIR will alleviate dam safety issues associated with San Clemente Dam.
