Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Amendment No. 4 to Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2013-0063-R4 (Agreement), to the Permittee, California American Water.
The Project includes the removal of the San Clemente Dam and the Old Carmel River Dam on the Carmel River in Monterey County. The Carmel River upstream of the existing San Clemente Dam will be rerouted through a new, created channel. Amendment No. 4 includes modifying the process for biologists to be approved to handle and relocate western pond turtles (Actinemys marmorata).
