Document Description
The proposed project is the adoption of the Visalia Bikeway Plan Update (Plan). The proposed Plan is a comprehensive update of the existing City of Visalia Bikeway Plan Update adopted in February 2006. The Plan will provide the framework for future development of the City's bicycle network and will make the City eligible for local, State, and federal funding for bicycle projects. The Plan is intended to guide and influence bikeway policies, programs, and development standards to make bicycling in the City of Visalia more safe, comfortable, convenient and enjoyable for all bicyclists. The ultimate goal of this effort is to increase the number of persons in the City of Visalia who bicycle for transportation to work, school, errands, or for recreation.
