Document Description
The City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) propose to enter into an agreement to work cooperatively to improve and/or develop several multi-purpose sports fields in the City. One of these projects is the enhancement of existing sports fields at Washington Middle School. Currently, the project site is developed with turf (i.e., existing multi-purpose sports fields), asphalt play areas, play equipment, portable toilets, a dirt track, and field lighting. This project includes turf rehabilitation (including enhanced irrigation) and installation of field lighting (four new pole fixtures up to approximately 80 feet in height). The field lights will be installed by PUSD. Restroom facilities will also be constructed. A site map is provided in the attached Initial Study. Parking is provided on the site and on the adjacent streets.
